An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Janpier in the 7th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Fernando Lonzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Evaristo Bladi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panacón AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evaristo Bladi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Lonzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando Lonzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Bladi in the 12th minute of play. Leopoldo Lia kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20thth minute of the game Evaristo Bladi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente's Fernando Lonzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vladimiro Havier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Rosendo Lucian made a huge save. Evaristo Bladi struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Fernando Lonzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panacón AFC. Bernardo Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Rosendo Lucian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Independiente booed when Panacón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Quexal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimiro Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benigno Quexal kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Bladi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vladimiro Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes Panacón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Janpier. Fernando Lonzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Bladi in the 59th minute of play. Vladimiro Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Leopoldo Monico hit a great ball. Vladimiro Havier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Rosendo Lucian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Lucian having to interfere. In the 76th minute of the match Panacón AFC got a corner. Independiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guaberto Telesforo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vladimiro Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st match minute, Panacón AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Santos to maneuver through the defense. Independiente's Fernando Lonzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Bladi in the 87th minute of play. Rosendo Lucian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Havier, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benigno Quexal during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes Panacón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Quexal. Maximo Janpier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosendo Lucian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Havier in the 95th minute of the match. The Panacón AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Independiente from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
