Caldao's Celso Hotz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Caldao from getting a goal against them. Celso Hotz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Banegas in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute, Teodosio Eguntsenti fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Hondo in the 37th minute of play forced Deportivo Justicialista's goalkeeper Ulrik Enegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvestre Izel struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ulrik Enegren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caldao. Caldao's Celso Hotz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Caldao from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute, Teodosio Eguntsenti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Hotz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodosio Eguntsenti made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Felipe Banegas made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Caldao's Celso Hotz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Teodosio Eguntsenti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Christian Neto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caldao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Justicialista the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Deportivo Justicialista's You Ming Jun tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Teodosio Eguntsenti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celso Hotz was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. A collision led to Caldao getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Matias Hondo hit a great ball. In the 69th match minute, Deportivo Justicialista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Markel to maneuver through the defense. Roque Txanton's late challenge caught a Deportivo Justicialista's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roque Txanton helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Caldao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Txanton to maneuver through the defense. If Teodosio Eguntsenti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
