Carolo Gines breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rosendo Lucian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Stephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carolo Gines acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 65th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Guaberto Telesforo. The supporters of Panacón AFC booed when Gaypón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Stephen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70thth minute of the game Evaristo Bladi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaypón's Carolo Gines was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Candido Baumer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Rosendo Lucian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosendo Lucian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzalo Stephen's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. When Benigno Quexal came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Panacón AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Quexal couldn't finish the play. During the 78th minute of the match Ladislao Balesio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ladislao Balesio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ladislao Balesio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The Panacón AFC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Panacón AFC's Maximo Janpier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 97th of the match, Evaristo Bladi tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Carolo Gines got in the way and made a wonderful save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Panacón AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
