OtheGuys F.C.'s Nemesio Guzman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save OtheGuys F.C. from getting a goal against them. A collision led to OtheGuys F.C. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jorge Ramos hit a great ball. Gonzalo Stephen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Nemesio Guzman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Julio Laffitte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Leopoldo Ibar fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaypón's protests and gave Leopoldo Ibar a yellow card for diving instead. Gaypón:s Carolo Gines showed great skill when he stopped Filomeno Escobar:s penalty. Salvador Luzaide charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Luzaide the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, one of OtheGuys F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for OtheGuys F.C.. When the match had been going on for 29 minutes, Gaypón's Leopoldo Ibar got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nemesio Guzman. Erubiel Eskuin kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Manuel Evis took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carolo Gines. Carolo Gines dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Hector Belo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justino Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erubiel Eskuin during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nemesio Oihenarte kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Justino Machado struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Carolo Gines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OtheGuys F.C.. When Julio Laffitte fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaypón's protests and gave Julio Laffitte a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gaypón's Julio Laffitte got a free kick in the 70th minute. When Manuel Evis came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the OtheGuys F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Evis couldn't finish the play. Justino Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Gines having to interfere. Manuel Evis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justino Machado in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carolo Gines, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Gonzalo Stephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Kusko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The OtheGuys F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing OtheGuys F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
