That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. A collision led to ALMIRANTE BROWN getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jacinto Nataniel hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Pablo Lop kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carolo Gines. That made the score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. Gaypón's Gonzalo Stephen got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute Pablo Lop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Gines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Gaypón's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Lop came free, but Carolo Gines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Ospin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Kusko in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Gaypón's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Braulio Etxekopar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Gonzalo Stephen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaypón's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Stephen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teobaldo Ospin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gaypón's Horacio Kusko in 27 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Teobaldo Ospin guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Braulio Etxekopar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Lop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Gines having to interfere. The supporters of ALMIRANTE BROWN booed when Gaypón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Eskuin didn't get a good kick on the ball. ALMIRANTE BROWN's Braulio Etxekopar came free and shot a quick shot against goal 34 minutes in the game, fortunately Carolo Gines had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Carolo Gines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Lop in the 43rd minute of the match. Pablo Lop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pablo Lop to make the kick off. Gonzalo Stephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Ospin having to interfere. After 56 minutes, Anacleto Beturian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ALMIRANTE BROWN and the Gaypón players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anacleto Beturian hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Lop in the 65th minute of play forced Gaypón's goalkeeper Carolo Gines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaypón's Reynaldo Baraquiel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Teobaldo Ospin but with some difficulty. After having played for 72 minutes, Braulio Etxekopar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ALMIRANTE BROWN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Etxekopar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74thth minute of the game Pablo Lop who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaypón's Carolo Gines was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Gaypón's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Etxekopar came free, but Carolo Gines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Nunez Grabiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Gines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braulio Etxekopar struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Carolo Gines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ALMIRANTE BROWN. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Braulio Etxekopar in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carolo Gines saved Gaypón from getting behind.
