Astor Gorbeas short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Basilio Mambru to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 26 minutes into the match, Astor Gorbea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basilio Mambru. Toay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Astor Gorbea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Hoyón's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Senin came free, but Candido Belmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Saul Gervaso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toay's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Gervaso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Belmiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
