An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Lorenzo Pierres got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The attack was good, but when Anier Ioritz in the 4th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Cayetano Oso scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victorio Niva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 14 minutes, Cayetano Oso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MaTeDu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Oso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anier Ioritz might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Furtado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anier Ioritz ran back to his position shaking his head. Ambrosio Endura charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ambrosio Endura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 minutes of play, Gatorei's Lorenzo Pierres made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Furtado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cayetano Oso hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Cayetano Oso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Niva having to interfere. Uriel Dayam charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uriel Dayam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gatorei's Uriel Dayam got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Ioritz in the 31st minute of play forced MaTeDu FC's goalkeeper Alberto Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Denis Favila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MaTeDu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gatorei the free kick. In the 35th minute, Denis Favila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Gatorei's Dario Karlo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Oso in the 38th minute of play forced Gatorei's goalkeeper Victorio Niva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gatorei's Victorio Niva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Oso in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Orlondo in the 44th minute of play forced Gatorei's goalkeeper Victorio Niva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Dante Orlondo got free with Victorio Niva in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute Cayetano Oso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Niva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Lorenzo Pierres made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Furtado. MaTeDu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardino Gergori during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Victorio Niva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Oso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Cayetano Oso got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dante Orlondo in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Victorio Niva, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. MaTeDu FC's Alberto Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Ioritz in the 84th minute of play. When MaTeDu FC's Cayetano Oso in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gatorei's goalie prevented a goal. Cayetano Oso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerardo Orkatz kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Cayetano Oso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 97th minute, Cayetano Oso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorio Niva was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Gatorei's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
