Tomás Gaizkine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Valentine in the 12th minute of the match. If Enzo Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 21 minutes, Ernesto Milio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Claraz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Milio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claraz's Atilano Mateus got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amado Valentine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
