Severo Lore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Gaizkine having to interfere. If Rosendo Obeko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Obeko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Tomás Gaizkine made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Claraz's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Lore came free, but Tomás Gaizkine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Claraz's goalkeeper Tomás Gaizkine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rosendo Obeko. Tomás Gaizkine didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rosendo Obeko went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Tomás Gaizkine acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Octavio Lore. In the 26th minute, Severo Lore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rosendo Obeko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidoro Froylan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Milio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Ernesto Milio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Froylan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Justo Frantzes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Claraz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fortuna FC the free kick. After having played for 39 minutes, Rosendo Obeko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fortuna FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosendo Obeko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rosendo Obeko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Gaizkine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Leopoldo Chan kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Rosendo Obeko struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Tomás Gaizkine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fortuna FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Rosendo Obeko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fortuna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rosendo Obeko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Gaizkine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Milio made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Claraz were awarded a corner. Ricardo Lucian went to the cornerflag to take it. 58 minutes into the match, Fortuna FC's goalkeeper Isidoro Froylan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atilano Mateus. In the 58th match minute, Fortuna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Beila to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Milio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Isidoro Froylan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosendo Obeko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atilano Mateus got free with Isidoro Froylan in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fortuna FC's Isidoro Froylan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Milio in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fortuna FC's zone, Ernesto Milio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidoro Froylan came out of the goal and Ernesto Milio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Rosendo Obeko notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Claraz's Tomás Gaizkine. Tomás Gaizkine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 92 minutes into the game, Atilano Mateus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Isidoro Froylan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fortuna FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
