In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Talleres's goalkeeper Gilberto Sadurni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Angélica's Jimeno Bernebe got a free kick in the 11th minute. Silvestre Padro charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvestre Padro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silvestre Padro kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Club Atletico Talleres booed when Angélica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Kiliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Saturnino Sasoin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Sasoin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Atletico Talleres's Gilberto Sadurni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Rodas in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Talleres's Ubaldo Fero got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Maximo Rodas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Angélica booed when Club Atletico Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Fero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Sadurni was a little too slow when Maximo Rodas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ubaldo Fero hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes Maximo Rodas rounded Club Atletico Talleres's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. When Silvestre Padro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. In the 46th minute, Silvestre Padro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Simon Kiliz made the kick off in the second half. Jimeno Bernebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Simon Kiliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angélica's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Kiliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Sadurni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Club Atletico Talleres's Saturnino Sasoin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Victorino Bero. Victorino Bero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Victorino Bero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Sasoin in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Saturnino Sasoin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Sasoin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Simon Kiliz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilberto Sadurni was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Simon Kiliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Sadurni having to interfere. In the 90th minute Simon Kiliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Sadurni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Kiliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Sadurni having to interfere.
