Tomás Gaizkine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Aguirre in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Arias y Guidi's Esteve Guipuzkoa got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Atilano Mateus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Arias y Guidi fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Arias y Guidi's Froilan Aguirre looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arias y Guidi's Froilan Aguirre got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Froilan Aguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Froilan Aguirre struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Tomás Gaizkine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arias y Guidi. Tomás Gaizkine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Tab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Milio might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saverio Mon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Milio ran back to his position shaking his head. Arias y Guidi's Saverio Mon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Milio in the 29th minute of play. Froilan Aguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tomás Gaizkine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everardo Celio charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Everardo Celio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ricardo Lucian shot from long distance in the 33rd minute, but Saverio Mon was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Tomás Gaizkine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Aguirre, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The Claraz players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arias y Guidi were winning 0-1.

After 53 played minutes Raimundo Tab rounded Claraz's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. If Froilan Aguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Apolo Ceandro during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ernesto Milio sped through Arias y Guidi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Saverio Mon. Tomás Gaizkine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Tab in the 70th minute of the match. Claraz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Froilan Aguirre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Arias y Guidi played a much better game than Claraz and deserved their victory. The Claraz players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
