With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximo Rodas in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Ongile saved Avellaneda from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Maximo Rodas made the kick off in the second half. When Benicio Bernabel fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Angélica's protests and gave Benicio Bernabel a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 50th minute of the game. One of Angélica:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Avellaneda:s goal. In the 85th minute Maximo Rodas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Ongile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Angélica's Dionisio Ramirez to fire away a dangerous shot which Francisco Ongile despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Maximo Rodas took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Francisco Ongile to make any attempt to save it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Angélica walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
