But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Iaki couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Reynaldo Senin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's Placido Gar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Amboy FC's Fabian Igon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Sabin in the 22nd minute of play. Cipoletti's Pascual Bartuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Iaki in the 25th minute of play. Benedicto Faron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geronimo Sabin during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Cipoletti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Sabin to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

53 minutes into the game, Cipoletti's Florencio Bonadona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabian Igon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Amboy FC's Felipe Suero got a free kick in the 57th minute. Florencio Bonadona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Felipe Suero's late challenge caught a Cipoletti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Suero helped the player get up and apologised. 68 minutes into the game, one of Amboy FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cipoletti were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Amboy FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luisito Aznar took the corner. Victor Pacorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Bartuelo having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Geronimo Sabin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cipoletti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Sabin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geronimo Sabin got free with Fabian Igon in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florencio Bonadona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Igon having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Pacorro in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascual Bartuelo saved Cipoletti from getting behind. When Gonzalo Iaki came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Amboy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Iaki couldn't finish the play. If Florencio Bonadona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Victor Pacorro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Cipoletti left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Amboy FC.
