Nicolas Fonso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonatan Gizon in the 10th minute. Benedicto Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Nicolas Fonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Cosmopolita's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Gaspard came free, but Nicolas Fonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Gizon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Nicolas Fonso made a huge save. Emiliano Lalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Iban having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Cosmopolita's Emiliano Lalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigio Iban narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Eleuterio Venceslas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eleuterio Venceslas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remigio Iban having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Emiliano Lalla put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Remigio Iban. If Eleuterio Venceslas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dionisio Gaspard in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Fonso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Emiliano Lalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cosmopolita's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Lalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Iban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the match, CAVS's Jonatan Gizon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Fonso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 57 minutes, Dionisio Gaspard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAVS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Gaspard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Dionisio Gaspard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Fonso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Hilario Medina charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hilario Medina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of CAVS booed when Cosmopolita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Medina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Fonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Gaspard in the 70th minute of the match. Emiliano Lalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 played minutes Emiliano Lalla rounded CAVS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. In the 80th minute, Benedicto Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remigio Iban came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cosmopolita's Eleuterio Venceslas. But to his dismay, Eleuterio Venceslas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 86 minutes into the match, Jonatan Gizon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Fonso. Cosmopolita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonatan Gizon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Eleuterio Venceslas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Remigio Iban firmly grabbed it by the left post. Remigio Iban made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eleuterio Venceslas in the 93rd minute. After 95 played minutes Cosmopolita got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Sidro. Nicolas Fonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Gaspard in the 96th minute of play. The Cosmopolita players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
