The audience thought a goal was coming when Saverio Iban got free with Enrique Araoz in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enrique Araoz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saverio Iban in the 17th minute. After 28 minutes of play, Partuzeros FC's Aldo Cayo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leo Txerran was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albino Lastur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Enrique Araoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aldo Cayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Rolando Serafo came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leo Txerran could save by the left post. Jesus Bermudez charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jesus Bermudez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Armstrong AFC booed when Partuzeros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Aldo Cayo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Txerran was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Albino Lastur might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Araoz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albino Lastur ran back to his position shaking his head. When Rigoberto Gutierrez fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Armstrong AFC's protests and gave Rigoberto Gutierrez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Partuzeros FC booed when Armstrong AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Gutierrez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Partuzeros FC's Rolando Serafo managed to work through Armstrong AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rolando Serafo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When Rigoberto Gutierrez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. After 80 played minutes Armstrong AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Gutierrez. Jesus Bermudez got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 81st minute, Jesus Bermudez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
