Spectators: 7172 (Terracing: 5381, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonatan Tadzio started the match with the kick off. Hilario Guillerme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute, Reynaldo Bihar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute Eusebio Playo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Elodio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Iraizoz getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Reynaldo Bihar hit a great ball. C A Independiente's Joaquin Burni couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Iraizoz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Playo in the 20th minute of play forced Iraizoz's goalkeeper Tadeo Elodio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind C A Independiente's goalkeeper Venancio Roldan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eusebio Playo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tadeo Elodio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marciano Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Venancio Roldan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Joel Weterio could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Venancio Roldan however easily saved by the left post. Hilario Guillerme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to C A Independiente getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gualterio Abeijon hit a great ball. After 43 minutes of play, Iraizoz's Joel Weterio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Venancio Roldan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 48 played minutes C A Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Estebe. 48 minutes into the match, Iraizoz's Mateo Abarca broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hilario Guillerme made a kick off. Jonatan Tadzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of C A Independiente booed when Iraizoz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Enetz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusebio Playo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Iraizoz's zone, Jonatan Tadzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Elodio came out of the goal and Jonatan Tadzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Iraizoz's Marciano Barros got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With his leg Tadeo Elodio managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when C A Independiente's Eusebio Playo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Venancio Roldan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Guillerme in the 66th minute of the match. Jonatan Tadzio might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Elodio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonatan Tadzio ran back to his position shaking his head. Venancio Roldan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Guillerme, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Jonatan Tadzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tadeo Elodio made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Eusebio Playo sent off a good shot on target. Tadeo Elodio was a little too slow when Eusebio Playo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-1. Hilario Guillerme struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Venancio Roldan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iraizoz. Joel Weterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Roldan having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
