Spectators: 7201 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Primitivo Uzuri started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Iraizoz defense, Primitivo Uzuri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tadeo Elodio. The Iraizoz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeo Elodio should have stopped the shot. In the 17thth minute of the game Hilario Guillerme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Def. de Talleres's Reynaldo Estebano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Hilario Guillerme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iraizoz's supporters rose to their feet, but Hilario Guillerme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Estebano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faustino Gaizkine kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Nunez Jakue came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Def. de Talleres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nunez Jakue couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Samuel Richie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Flor in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeo Elodio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joel Weterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Estebano having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Primitivo Uzuri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Def. de Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Uzuri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Nunez Jakue managed to get in a good position for a shot. Def. de Talleres's supporters rose to their feet, but Nunez Jakue was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeo Elodio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tadeo Elodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Flor in the 46th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hilario Guillerme made a kick off. Reynaldo Estebano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Guillerme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Iraizoz's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Uzuri came free, but Tadeo Elodio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Primitivo Uzuri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tadeo Elodio. The goal made the score 0-2. The audience was convinced that Samuel Richie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Estebano was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 77th match minute, Def. de Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Caitano to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Flor got free with Tadeo Elodio in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Juan Flor came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Def. de Talleres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Flor couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Iraizoz's Tadeo Elodio got control of the ball when Juan Flor tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Def. de Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Jakue to maneuver through the defense. Def. de Talleres's Reynaldo Estebano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Guillerme in the 94th minute of play. Joel Weterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Def. de Talleres eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
