Spectators: 7236 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Interpas Futbol Club's Cosme Veronica started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Pirro during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Cosme Veronica managed to get in a good position for a shot. Interpas Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosme Veronica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Theobald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Astor Eskuin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Genaro Delfino hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Eliseo Ponciano struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Tomas Pes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deseado. Ermegildo Theobald was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Deseado's Astor Eskuin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomas Pes. That made the score 1-1 after 48 minutes of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliseo Ponciano to strike the kick off in the second half. Eliseo Ponciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Pes having to interfere. Deseado's Ermegildo Theobald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Veronica in the 61st minute of play. Astor Eskuin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tomas Pes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Deseado fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Deseado's Eliseo Ponciano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eliseo Ponciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Pes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Eskuin in the 85th minute of play.
