Alberto Eusko hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliseo Ponciano to make the kick off. After 71 played minutes Deseado got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Bixintxo. Eduardo Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Elias Geleberto made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Astor Eskuin sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Charrúa's zone, Astor Eskuin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Deseado's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Diaz came free, but Ermegildo Theobald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes, Flavio Gutxi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Charrúa and the Deseado players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Deportivo Charrúa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Gutxi to maneuver through the defense. Deseado's Eliseo Ponciano got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Deseado players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Deportivo Charrúa from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
