After 7 minutes, Nereo Jaume mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ChacaPower and the Vergarabat F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Flavio Luke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vergarabat F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Luke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Gartzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute of the match, Braulio Chepe got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gregorio Fiz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 12 minutes into the match, Vergarabat F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Reno came free, but Gregorio Fiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregorio Fiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Reno, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Reno in the 28th minute of play forced Vergarabat F.C.'s goalkeeper Gregorio Fiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vergarabat F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Gogo Gartzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Luke, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Herauso during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Vergarabat F.C. booed when ChacaPower was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Herauso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vergarabat F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ramiro Quin in the 48th minute. A collision led to Vergarabat F.C. getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Aaron Iaki hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 54 played minutes Vergarabat F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Lucado. Gerardo Lucado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flavio Luke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Gartzi having to interfere. Gregorio Fiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Reno, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Eduardo Herauso kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Gerardo Lucado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gogo Gartzi, 1-1. Anastasio Cresconio's late challenge caught a ChacaPower's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anastasio Cresconio helped the player get up and apologised. Anastasio Cresconio hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Flavio Luke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Gogo Gartzi made a huge save. When Braulio Chepe came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the ChacaPower fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Chepe couldn't finish the play. Vergarabat F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
