In the 10th match minute, Coco Roots was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Daunte to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Timoteo Domiku hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Coco Roots's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Flavio Luke scored to the left of an out of position Aquilino Bilbo, making the score, 1-0. If Gerardo Lucado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 played minutes Coco Roots got a freekick which was hit by Saul Bibiano. In the 25th minute of the match Vergarabat F.C. got a corner. Coco Roots's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ramiro Quin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Vergarabat F.C.'s Ramiro Quin to fire away a dangerous shot which Aquilino Bilbo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laureano Lesardo got free with Aquilino Bilbo in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 2-0 became the score in the 32nd minute when Gerardo Lucado elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Anastasio Cresconio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquilino Bilbo made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Flavio Luke sent off a good shot on target. Gerardo Lucado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerardo Lucado to strike the kick off in the second half. If Arnaldo Orain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th of the match, Pablo Osoitz tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Gregorio Fiz got in the way and made a wonderful save. After 60 played minutes Vergarabat F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Lesardo. In the 61st minute, Faustino Daunte sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vergarabat F.C.'s Gregorio Fiz didn't even have to move. Gregorio Fiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Osoitz in the 63rd minute of the match. Vergarabat F.C.'s Gregorio Fiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Osoitz in the 68th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Vergarabat F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Lesardo. In the 69th minute, Faustino Daunte sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vergarabat F.C.'s Gregorio Fiz didn't even have to move. With his leg Gregorio Fiz managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Coco Roots's Timoteo Domiku fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vergarabat F.C.'s Flavio Luke got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnaldo Orain might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregorio Fiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnaldo Orain ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coco Roots's goalkeeper Aquilino Bilbo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aquilino Bilbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Luke, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. With a little luck, Vergarabat F.C.'s Gregorio Fiz got control of the ball when Arnaldo Orain tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pablo Osoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gregorio Fiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arnaldo Orain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vergarabat F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Coco Roots had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
