Gregorio Fiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coranzulí AFC. 18 minutes into the game, Flavio Luke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Marcelo Gil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Severo Cambranes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregorio Fiz having to make a save. Fidel Ilixo might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregorio Fiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fidel Ilixo ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the match, Severo Cambranes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gregorio Fiz. Vergarabat F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severo Cambranes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Coranzulí AFC's Severo Cambranes got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Ramiro Quin hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match.
