In the 4th minute Edgard Reno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Sayvion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ordóñez AFC's Manuel Sayvion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Reno in the 5th minute of play. Gogo Gartzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Eriz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Edgard Reno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Sayvion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gogo Gartzi made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Tadeo Cristofol sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute of the match Lino Medero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gogo Gartzi skillfully saved the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Tadeo Cristofol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gogo Gartzi. ChacaPower's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeo Cristofol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Prospero Eriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Gartzi having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, ChacaPower was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Herauso to maneuver through the defense. Ordóñez AFC's Virgilio Hori couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ChacaPower. Thanks to some nice moves Tadeo Cristofol could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Gogo Gartzi however easily saved by the left post. In the 46th minute, Edgard Reno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ordóñez AFC's Gualterio Juvenal got a free kick in the 47th minute. After having played for 48 minutes, Edgard Reno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ChacaPower's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Reno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prospero Eriz was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Edgard Reno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ChacaPower's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Reno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute of the match Lino Medero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gogo Gartzi skillfully saved the ball. Esteve Oliviero charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteve Oliviero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ChacaPower booed when Ordóñez AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Oliviero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Reno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorato Patrido hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Ordóñez AFC were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after ChacaPower's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Virgilio Hori took the corner. Ordóñez AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
