When Filomeno Ezkerra came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Malevos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Ezkerra couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind LBN's goalkeeper Anacleto Silvino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Hipolito Gilen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hipolito Gilen to make the kick off. LBN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hipolito Gilen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Anacleto Silvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Gilen, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute Hipolito Gilen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Silvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filomeno Ezkerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Anacleto Silvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to LBN getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Amado Errando hit a great ball. After 83 minutes, Eduardo Franco made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Malevos FC's Carlos Clis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Malevos FC's Hipolito Gilen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anacleto Silvino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Pascual Sadurni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malevos FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
