Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) Guatraché's Celestino Tadzio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rolando Sanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jorge Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 played minutes LBN got a freekick which was hit by Amado Errando. Jorge Arce had several of the LBN's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Anacleto Silvino as he didn't even see the shot coming. Anacleto Silvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Tadzio in the 23rd minute of play. Jorge Arce struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Anacleto Silvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guatraché. 28 minutes into the match, Edgardo Quico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernan Berriotxoa. Guatraché's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Quico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a little luck, LBN's Anacleto Silvino got control of the ball when Jorge Arce tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anacleto Silvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Tadzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, LBN's goalkeeper Anacleto Silvino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Lixandro. Jorge Arce's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Anacleto Silvino skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Anacleto Silvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Tadzio in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Eduardo Franco made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Eduardo Franco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guatraché's Fernan Berriotxoa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eduardo Franco succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. After a rather tough play, Guatraché's Jorge Arce got a free kick in the 60th minute. Edgardo Quico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Berriotxoa having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Eduardo Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Berriotxoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernan Berriotxoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Quico in the 65th minute. Anacleto Silvino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Arce went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 76th match minute, Guatraché was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Lixandro to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match Modesto Marino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernan Berriotxoa skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Guatraché's zone, Edgardo Quico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Berriotxoa came out of the goal and Edgardo Quico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celestino Tadzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Quico in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernan Berriotxoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. LBN's Anacleto Silvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Tadzio in the 92nd minute of play. If Edgardo Quico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Eduardo Franco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
