The audience thought a goal was coming when Rosendo Garaona got free with Emiliano Quinto in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 11 minutes, Enrique Calvino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Armonía FC and the Ballesteros AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Armonía FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Emiliano Quinto, was totally fooled by Ballesteros AFC's Filomeno Txordon, who 13 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Medina in the 30th minute of play forced Armonía FC's goalkeeper Emiliano Quinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Rosendo Garaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballesteros AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosendo Garaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emiliano Quinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armonía FC's Emiliano Quinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Medina in the 34th minute of play. Gonzalo Osoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Sustrai having to interfere. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballesteros AFC's goalkeeper Teofilo Sustrai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Maximino Seguinus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teofilo Sustrai was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Enrique Calvino hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Armonía FC's zone, Gerardo Medina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Quinto came out of the goal and Gerardo Medina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Medina to make the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Armonía FC's goalkeeper Emiliano Quinto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Maximino Seguinus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Raul Beltza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximino Seguinus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Teofilo Sustrai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rosendo Garaona came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Ballesteros AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rosendo Garaona couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Gerardo Medina made a precise shot to the right of Emiliano Quinto. Armonía FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Rosendo Garaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Sustrai yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Armonía FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
