With a little luck, Ballesteros AFC's Teofilo Sustrai got control of the ball when Fulgencio Rio tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Fulgencio Rio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Sustrai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulgencio Rio in the 38th minute. After 39 played minutes Ballesteros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Caetano. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ballesteros AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Teofilo Sustrai, was totally fooled by Los Cuervos's Segundo Estefan, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Cuervos's Fulgencio Rio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teofilo Sustrai. That made the score 2-0 after 47 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gerardo Medina made the kick off in the second half. If Fulgencio Rio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Los Cuervos booed when Ballesteros AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Txordon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Medina was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Ballesteros AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 63rd minute, Rosendo Garaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballesteros AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Abajas in the 70th minute of play forced Ballesteros AFC's goalkeeper Teofilo Sustrai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerardo Medina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 76th minute Fulgencio Rio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Sustrai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Rio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Sustrai having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Ballesteros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Raul Beltza. In the 85th match minute, Los Cuervos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Navarro to maneuver through the defense. If Gerardo Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Sustrai having to interfere. Raul Beltza hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. In the 100th minute of the match Segundo Estefan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teofilo Sustrai showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Los Cuervos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ballesteros AFC for a fine match.
