Spectators: 7191 (Terracing: 5395, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) Napenay's Teobaldo Celipe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes, Los Cuervos's Eustacio Shantala shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dionisio Costante came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Cuervos reached it. After 7 played minutes Napenay got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Cordera. In the 7th minute of the match Segundo Estefan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dionisio Costante skillfully saved the ball. Fabio Chumo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Urko in the 9th minute. Adolfo Cristos kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Dionisio Costante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Rio in the 19th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Napenay's goalkeeper Dionisio Costante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Celipe in the 25th minute of play forced Los Cuervos's goalkeeper Fabio Chumo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, one of Los Cuervos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Cuervos. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Leandro Urko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Napenay's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Urko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Chumo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dionisio Costante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Rio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-1 became the score in the 41st minute when Lucio Abajas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Napenay booed when Los Cuervos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 51st minute of the match Napenay got a corner. Los Cuervos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nunez Lore ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucio Abajas to strike the kick off in the second half. If Teobaldo Celipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Rio got free with Dionisio Costante in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fulgencio Rio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Federico Chus kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Nunez Lore sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Los Cuervos's Fabio Chumo didn't even have to move. In the 69th minute, Ricardo Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teobaldo Celipe might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Chumo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Celipe ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Lucio Abajas took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Dionisio Costante to make any attempt to save it. Fulgencio Rio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Costante having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Lucio Abajas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dionisio Costante. The goal made the score 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Urko in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Chumo saved Los Cuervos from getting behind. When Fulgencio Rio came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Los Cuervos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulgencio Rio couldn't finish the play. The Napenay supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Los Cuervos's performance. The match ended with a win for Los Cuervos.
