After a rather tough play, Ballesteros AFC's Adan Natal got a free kick in the 16th minute. Algarrobitos AFC's Pastor Milian got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballesteros AFC's goalkeeper Teofilo Sustrai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gerardo Medina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Epifanio Serafo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Epifanio Serafo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Medina in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Ballesteros AFC booed when Algarrobitos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Rosendo Garaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballesteros AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rosendo Garaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Serafo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 48 minutes, Pastor Milian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Algarrobitos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pastor Milian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Medina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gerardo Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th match minute, Algarrobitos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Faro to maneuver through the defense. If Rosendo Garaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Lino Faro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Algarrobitos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballesteros AFC the free kick. After 59 played minutes Algarrobitos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lino Faro. Epifanio Serafo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Medina in the 60th minute of play. Ballesteros AFC's Teofilo Sustrai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Ballesteros AFC from getting a goal against them. Teofilo Sustrai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Txanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Epifanio Serafo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Garaona in the 70th minute of the match. Rosendo Garaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Epifanio Serafo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Algarrobitos AFC booed when Ballesteros AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosendo Garaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Serafo having to interfere. In the 80thth minute of the game Abelardo Txanton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballesteros AFC's Teofilo Sustrai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. During the 83rd minute of the match Ciriaco Caetano completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ciriaco Caetano a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 83 played minutes Ballesteros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Caetano. Abelardo Txanton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teofilo Sustrai having to make a save. Abelardo Txanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ballesteros AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Algarrobitos AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Algarrobitos AFC.
