The audience was convinced that Freddy Duardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Chumo was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Los Cuervos's Federico Chus got a free kick in the 38th minute. Fabio Chumo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Pelayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 47 played minutes Los Cuervos got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Benet. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddy Duardo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Enfermo de Lepra getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Efrain Eder hit a great ball. If Lucio Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfredo Pelayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fabio Chumo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabio Chumo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot by Hugo Beliran from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Fabio Chumo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 68 minutes, Freddy Duardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Enfermo de Lepra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Duardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godfredo Pelayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Fabio Chumo made a huge save. Ricardo Abreu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes Los Cuervos got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Shantala. Godfredo Pelayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Chumo having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Los Cuervos's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Duardo came free, but Fabio Chumo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Enfermo de Lepra's Freddy Duardo, in the 89th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Enfermo de Lepra. In the 92nd match minute, Los Cuervos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Freddy Duardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
