Saverio Jaume didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melquiades Beat took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orlando Jaizki. Orlando Jaizki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Epifanio Ferran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Aballe having to interfere. Tigre Atletico Club's Dante Aballe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Valery in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Lorenzo Valery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Nalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Orlando Jaizki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Federales F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Gilen to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Valery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Dante Aballe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orlando Jaizki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orlando Jaizki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Nalo in the 34th minute of play. Orlando Jaizki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Beat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Federales F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Nalo came free, but Orlando Jaizki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tigre Atletico Club's Emiliano Nalo got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Tigre Atletico Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Tigre Atletico Club's zone, Lorenzo Valery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Aballe came out of the goal and Lorenzo Valery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Epifanio Ferran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Dante Aballe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Epifanio Ferran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Aballe having to make a save. Emiliano Nalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Jaizki having to interfere. The Tigre Atletico Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tigre Atletico Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
