Los Cuervos's Fabio Chumo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Txanton in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Lucio Abajas made a precise shot to the right of Epifanio Serafo. Algarrobitos AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Rio in the 19th minute of play forced Algarrobitos AFC's goalkeeper Epifanio Serafo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Abelardo Txanton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Algarrobitos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Txanton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Chumo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abelardo Txanton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Chumo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Fulgencio Rio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Serafo having to interfere. Pastor Milian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Fabio Chumo made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Los Cuervos's zone, Pastor Milian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Chumo came out of the goal and Pastor Milian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abelardo Txanton to strike the kick off in the second half. Pascual Lamberto kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Algarrobitos AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fulgencio Rio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 60 minutes into the match, Los Cuervos's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Txanton came free, but Fabio Chumo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 minutes, Fidel Navarro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Cuervos and the Algarrobitos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Algarrobitos AFC booed when Los Cuervos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pastor Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Cuervos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Abajas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Algarrobitos AFC defense, Fulgencio Rio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Serafo. The Algarrobitos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Serafo should have stopped the shot. In the 78th match minute, Algarrobitos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Bidari to maneuver through the defense. Algarrobitos AFC's Epifanio Serafo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Abajas in the 80th minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Los Cuervos's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Milian came free, but Fabio Chumo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Rio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Los Cuervos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
