The referee ignored Aguante el Softbol's protests and gave Everardo Lucila a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Aguante el Softbol getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Everardo Lucila hit a great ball. Humberto Endira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Azeari in the 13th minute of play forced Aguante el Softbol's goalkeeper Abel Firmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Berasko in the 15th minute of play forced Colastiné's goalkeeper Isidoro Salvadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colastiné's Humberto Endira got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Edgard Berasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Colastiné's Humberto Endira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Firmo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reynaldo Ilixo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Humberto Endira to make the kick off. Humberto Endira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Ilixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Abel Firmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Endira in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Firmo saved Aguante el Softbol from getting behind. If Edgard Berasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristo Lizardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th match minute, Colastiné was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Benet to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Salvadore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Berasko, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When Edgard Berasko came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Aguante el Softbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Berasko couldn't finish the play. Humberto Endira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Firmo having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Edgard Berasko notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Colastiné's Isidoro Salvadore. Isidoro Salvadore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reynaldo Ilixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. In the 96th minute Humberto Endira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Firmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colastiné were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
