Spectators: 7284 (Terracing: 5465, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Conrado Gar started the match with the kick off. Tarea Fina FC's Tomás Claude played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Inko in the 4th minute of play. In the 4th minute, Blas Inko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Claude was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tarea Fina FC's Guillermo Sotil got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pablo Regis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Claude showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Inko in the 18th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tarea Fina FC's zone, Pablo Regis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Claude came out of the goal and Pablo Regis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cotolengos F.C.'s Blas Inko got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Tarea Fina FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Romeo Roldanillo hit a great ball. Tomás Claude made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Inko in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Tarea Fina FC booed when Cotolengos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Bonifaco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Hugo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 35th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. In the 39th minute, Blas Inko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Tarea Fina FC's Eulalio Orixe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eulalio Orixe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tarea Fina FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eulalio Orixe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tarea Fina FC! Tarea Fina FC:s Tomás Claude showed great skill when he stopped Clemente Pero:s penalty. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pablo Regis made a kick off. Blas Inko took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Claude. Tomás Claude dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cotolengos F.C.'s goalkeeper Gabriel Hugo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cleto Laurentzi during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Cotolengos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Laurentzi. The audience held their breath when Isidro Mergildo in the 62nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Gabriel Hugo's left hand side. In the 64th minute, Conrado Gar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tarea Fina FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Pablo Regis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tomás Claude tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cotolengos F.C.'s Adan Aires got a free kick in the 79th minute. Conrado Gar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Claude took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Regis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Tarea Fina FC's Tomás Claude got control of the ball when Blas Inko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pablo Regis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Claude having to interfere. The Cotolengos F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cotolengos F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
