With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lázaro Milio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Prospero Manuelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidoro Salvadore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prospero Manuelo ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Colastiné were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Endira was the one to do the kick off. Isidoro Salvadore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Manuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 played minutes Colastiné got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Burutzagi. Colastiné's Humberto Endira got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 63 in the game by Eduardo Abastas from a close distance when the talented Lázaro Milio managed to make a qualified save. Tabaquillo's players were relieved. Humberto Endira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Lázaro Milio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Tabaquillo's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Endira came free, but Lázaro Milio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes Tabaquillo got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Inko. Anastasio Lorencio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lázaro Milio. Tabaquillo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Prospero Manuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tabaquillo's goalkeeper Lázaro Milio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Colastiné's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
