The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Candido Estavan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Otsoa having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Lalas United's Marcelino Suero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diego Otsoa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Igor Valente fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lalas United's protests and gave Igor Valente a yellow card for diving instead. If Candido Estavan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Marcelino Suero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lalas United's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelino Suero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Otsoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Lalas United's Guaberto Crescencio got a free kick in the 30th minute. The supporters of JV Machine FC booed when Lalas United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Mendebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. JV Machine FC's Alberto Benvide got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 minutes of play, JV Machine FC's Alberto Benvide made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvio Claude was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rdth minute of the game Marcelino Suero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JV Machine FC's Diego Otsoa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 49 minutes into the match, Lalas United's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Benvide came free, but Silvio Claude reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half JV Machine FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonardo Bautista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the game, Leonardo Bautista lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Silvio Claude. Leonardo Bautista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Bautista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Silvio Claude tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvio Claude made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Benvide in the 70th minute. Alberto Benvide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Bautista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 0-4 became the score in the 75th minute when Leonardo Bautista elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Marcelino Suero came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Lalas United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Suero couldn't finish the play. Rosendo Arixo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Lalas United's Silvio Claude played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Bautista in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Lalas United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Anaya to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Claude having to interfere. If Candido Estavan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Otsoa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Candido Estavan went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Alberto Benvide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Claude having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. JV Machine FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
