If Marcial Abalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias Ledesma stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Candido Estavan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 minutes Lafontaine FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Igor Valente who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Lalas United's Nereo Iyan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Silvio Claude showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Ledesma in the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Marcial Abalos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvio Claude. Lalas United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcial Abalos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. David Romano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Candido Estavan went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Suero in the 72nd minute of play forced Lafontaine FC's goalkeeper David Romano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Lalas United's Marcelino Suero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Romano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcelino Suero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Romano having to interfere. Lalas United's Candido Estavan got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Candido Estavan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lalas United's supporters rose to their feet, but Candido Estavan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Romano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
