Diego Otsoa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Diego Otsoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florencio Pagomari's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Quintyn in the 13th minute of play forced JV Machine FC's goalkeeper Diego Otsoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Seleccionado Ruso's Ernesto Quintyn in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JV Machine FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Florencio Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Quintyn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alberto Benvide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, JV Machine FC's Leonardo Bautista ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sergio Mannie. Sergio Mannie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Diego Otsoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Quintyn in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Florencio Pagomari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Otsoa was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Bautista in the 48th minute of play forced Seleccionado Ruso's goalkeeper Sergio Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Bautista made a kick off. After 54 minutes Seleccionado Ruso's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eustaquio Orain who took care of the corner kick. The corner led JV Machine FC's Eustaquio Orain to fire away a dangerous shot which Sergio Mannie despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alberto Benvide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sergio Mannie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florencio Pagomari struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Diego Otsoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seleccionado Ruso. In the 65th minute, Ernesto Quintyn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Otsoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Florencio Pagomari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Diego Otsoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, JV Machine FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Pagomari came free, but Diego Otsoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Quintyn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Diego Otsoa made a huge save. Florencio Pagomari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Otsoa having to interfere. Florencio Pagomari received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Diego Otsoa came out and tried to block the shot, but Florencio Pagomari slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 87th minute. Ernesto Quintyn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Diego Otsoa made a huge save. Florencio Pagomari blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diego Otsoa having to make a save. Seleccionado Ruso's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
