After a defensive mix-up in Médanos AFC's zone, Enzo Quinteros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Nastasio came out of the goal and Enzo Quinteros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Sabin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Rameriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Ignacio Cordara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Sabin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Patricio Nastasio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Aguirre in the 41st minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Matadores's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Cordara came free, but Marcos Sabin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Isaias Rameriz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enzo Quinteros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patricio Nastasio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Quinteros, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Médanos AFC's Patricio Nastasio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Quinteros in the 59th minute of play. If Florencio Steven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Matadores's Florencio Steven in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaias Rameriz ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Cordara in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Sabin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patricio Nastasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Steven in the 75th minute of play. If Ignacio Cordara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Nestor Afonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignacio Cordara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Sabin having to interfere. Ignacio Cordara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Sabin made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Isaias Rameriz sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, Matadores's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Cordara came free, but Marcos Sabin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Nastasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Aguirre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Médanos AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
