Rosendo Abadie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenio Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Quirze's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 30th minute Danilo Celipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A long shot from Victorino Vermudo in the 34th minute of play was well struck, but Eugenio Santos made a really good save at the right post. A collision led to racing club getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Julian Guillelmo hit a great ball. Eugenio Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Quirze in the 37th minute. Red Bull's Ramiro Petrigai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Txeru in the 40th minute of play. Ramiro Petrigai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Guillelmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Ramiro Petrigai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Virila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Red Bull's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Guillelmo came free, but Ramiro Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Petrigai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Virila in the 46th minute of the match. Red Bull's Ramiro Petrigai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Guillelmo in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danilo Celipe was the one to do the kick off.
