Chipaite AFC's Felix Obano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Erasto in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Efrain Serafo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Constituyentes CF getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Anier Nesto hit a great ball. Camilo Edur kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Isidro Gilabert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arsenio Madaleno's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Tomas Javiar's late challenge caught a Constituyentes CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Javiar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Tomas Javiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Obano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Serafo in the 23rd minute. Felix Obano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Erasto in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Erasto in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Obano saved Chipaite AFC from getting behind. Romulo Ursino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Gilabert having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Constituyentes CF's zone, Romulo Ursino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Gilabert came out of the goal and Romulo Ursino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Romulo Ursino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidro Gilabert. Constituyentes CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romulo Ursino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Efrain Serafo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Raul Erasto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Erasto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Felix Obano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Obano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Edur, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Romulo Che's late challenge caught a Chipaite AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romulo Che helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Constituyentes CF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Chipaite AFC's Narciso Unai got a free kick in the 59th minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Raul Erasto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Constituyentes CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Erasto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Edur's late challenge caught a Chipaite AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Edur helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Benigno Froylan shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Constituyentes CF's Isidro Gilabert to catch but Benigno Froylan was lucky. It became 0-3 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. During the 83rd minute of the match Camilo Edur completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Camilo Edur a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 84th minute, Camilo Edur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Obano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Erasto in the 88th minute of the match. Felix Obano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Erasto in the 90th minute of play. Raul Erasto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Obano having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Constituyentes CF's Leonides Ipar got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Constituyentes CF manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Chipaite AFC to win.
