The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Norfolk City getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Alvaro Vergaray hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Norfolk City's Silverio Padro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herminio Olayo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 16 minutes, Silverio Padro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norfolk City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silverio Padro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alessandro Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Sabino in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Arizona's Angel Asteri got a free kick in the 28th minute. Arizona's Herminio Olayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Arizona from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 31 in the game by Silverio Padro from a close distance when the talented Herminio Olayo managed to make a qualified save. Arizona's players were relieved. Alessandro Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Sabino in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, Arizona's Herminio Olayo got control of the ball when Silverio Padro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Herminio Olayo made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Silverio Padro sent off a good shot on target. If Silverio Padro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute Gregorio Pello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Norfolk City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Dorio to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Placido Sabino made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Norfolk City's Igor Dorio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herminio Olayo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alessandro Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Sabino in the 54th minute of play. Silverio Padro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Alessandro Vides successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With his leg Alessandro Vides managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Arizona's Jonatan Urbes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Silverio Padro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Igor Dorio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herminio Olayo was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Silverio Padro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Herminio Olayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Igor Dorio made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Arizona's Herminio Olayo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Norfolk City's Silverio Padro got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonatan Urbes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alessandro Vides read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Jonatan Urbes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Alessandro Vides made a huge save. 95 minutes into the match, Norfolk City's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Sabino came free, but Alessandro Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Placido Sabino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alessandro Vides. Placido Sabino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Norfolk City lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
