The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Nalo in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Tiniebra saved Borussian Tatu from getting behind. A collision led to Borussian Tatu getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Aaron Madaleno hit a great ball. AC San Martín de Mendoza's Alejo Txaran got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artemio Oliviero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Dariusz Kosmatka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Cristian Nalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leopoldo Tiniebra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Nalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, AC San Martín de Mendoza's Cristian Nalo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Tiniebra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Cristian Nalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Tiniebra was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
Cristian Nalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Borussian Tatu getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Basilio Oalo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Nalo in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Tiniebra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leopoldo Tiniebra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Nalo in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AC San Martín de Mendoza's Alejo Txaran got a free kick in the 67th minute. Leopoldo Tiniebra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 蒋潮邦 went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the match, Cristian Nalo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Borussian Tatu's Leopoldo Tiniebra. Leopoldo Tiniebra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 蒋潮邦 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Leopoldo Tiniebra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Nalo's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. When Ladislao Tebaldo came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the AC San Martín de Mendoza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Tebaldo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Borussian Tatu's zone, Cristian Nalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Tiniebra came out of the goal and Cristian Nalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Cristian Nalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Tiniebra was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Borussian Tatu defense, Ladislao Tebaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Tiniebra. The Borussian Tatu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Tiniebra should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AC San Martín de Mendoza fully deserved thier win.
