In the 3rd minute, Esteve Bide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th match minute, Mendiolaza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Ferran to maneuver through the defense. After 12 played minutes, Crow Nest's Gilberto Canor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Delmiro Bertin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Crow Nest reached it. Manuel Urbez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Bertin having to interfere. Delmiro Bertin was a little too slow when Esteve Bide got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Fabio Casado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Saverio Lizer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crow Nest's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Lizer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmiro Bertin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mendiolaza's Delmiro Bertin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Bide in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Fulgencio Amaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saverio Lizer might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmiro Bertin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saverio Lizer ran back to his position shaking his head. Teofilo Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Casado having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Esteve Bide kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Delmiro Bertin. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteve Bide was the one to do the kick off. A nice corner shot did that Albino Avellaneda got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Delmiro Bertin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Gonzalo Buinton came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Mendiolaza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Buinton couldn't finish the play. Delmiro Bertin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteve Bide, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Lázaro Ferran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Fernandes in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Casado saved Crow Nest from getting behind. In the 79th minute, Esteve Bide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saverio Lizer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Delmiro Bertin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteve Bide struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Delmiro Bertin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crow Nest. Saverio Lizer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Bertin having to interfere. Delmiro Bertin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Lizer in the 90th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Crow Nest fully deserved thier win.
