The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Anaya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alejo Txaran hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Nalo in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Monico saved Club Atlético Nubes from getting behind. AC San Martín de Mendoza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Nalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atlético Nubes reached it. Fernando Monico came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by AC San Martín de Mendoza's Cristian Nalo. But to his dismay, Cristian Nalo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 78th minute Abel Anaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Kosmatka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AC San Martín de Mendoza had played much better football throughout.
