A hard shot by Marciano Unai from long distance, 6 minutes into the match, got Leopoldo Tiniebra's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 11th minute, Hermengildo Laurgain made a precise shot to the right of Leopoldo Tiniebra. Borussian Tatu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Hipolito Alfonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Natalio Musko charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a little luck, Borussian Tatu's Leopoldo Tiniebra got control of the ball when Hipolito Alfonso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leopoldo Tiniebra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Laurgain in the 32nd minute of the match. When Hermengildo Laurgain came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Rancul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Laurgain couldn't finish the play. Leopoldo Tiniebra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Ereinotz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Artemio Oliviero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Borussian Tatu's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Laurgain came free, but Leopoldo Tiniebra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
