AC San Martín de Mendoza's Dariusz Kosmatka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save AC San Martín de Mendoza from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Nalo in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustino Quinteros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Arnalt got free with Faustino Quinteros in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Curhuani's Faustino Quinteros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Curhuani from getting a goal against them. AC San Martín de Mendoza's Cristian Nalo got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over AC San Martín de Mendoza could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Curhuani throughout the match.
