Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 100) Patricio Jakes made the kick off and thus started the match. When Fernan Ganix fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nirihau's protests and gave Fernan Ganix a yellow card for diving instead. Fernan Ganix kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. When Roque Selatse came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Sabagasta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Selatse couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Nirihau booed when Sabagasta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Lando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sabagasta's Roque Selatse got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute Valentin Dayam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Abascal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Roque Selatse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Valentin Dayam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Abascal was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Sabagasta's Roque Selatse got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Nirihau's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Selatse came free, but Samuel Abascal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Valentin Dayam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 34 minutes into the match, Sabagasta's goalkeeper Roberto Menendo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleto Jerano. Cleto Jerano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albino Boni took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roberto Menendo. Sabagasta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roque Selatse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 minutes, Fernan Ganix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabagasta and the Nirihau players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernan Ganix kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Patricio Jakes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentin Dayam to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Sabagasta's Fernan Ganix dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. With his leg Samuel Abascal managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Sabagasta's Roque Selatse fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sabagasta's Roque Selatse got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentin Dayam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Samuel Abascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Menendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Jakes in the 68th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Nirihau defense, Fernan Ganix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Abascal. The Nirihau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Abascal should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Nirihau's Albino Boni got a free kick in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Nirihau's goalkeeper Samuel Abascal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Selatse. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Jakes in the 85th minute of play forced Sabagasta's goalkeeper Roberto Menendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sabagasta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
