Jimeno Henry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Tolino in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, Sorocayense FC's Jimeno Henry got control of the ball when Ulises Bladi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulises Bladi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jimeno Henry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemente Menendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Bixintxo in the 36th minute of play. Clemente Menendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Lehior in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Sorocayense FC were awarded a corner. Higinio Abella went to the cornerflag to take it. When Severino Bixintxo fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sorocayense FC's protests and gave Severino Bixintxo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Severino Bixintxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Tolino in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimeno Henry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Bixintxo to strike the kick off in the second half. Jimeno Henry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Bladi in the 52nd minute of play. Patricio Illart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Clemente Menendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58thth minute of the game Severino Bixintxo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Club's Clemente Menendo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patricio Illart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ulises Bladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Henry having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Severino Bixintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sorocayense FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Bixintxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Menendo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Patricio Illart came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Sorocayense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Illart couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Bixintxo in the 93rd minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Clemente Menendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
