Norberto Gutxi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th match minute, Agrelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Monico to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zacarias Beat got free with Norberto Gutxi in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ulises Bladi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Norberto Gutxi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ulises Bladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Gutxi having to interfere. In the 17th minute Raimundo Tolino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Gutxi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Agrelo getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Augusto Crescencio hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the game, Romulo Sanson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agrelo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club the free kick. Romulo Sanson hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Ulises Bladi struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Norberto Gutxi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. Raimundo Tolino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. Racing Club's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ulises Bladi sped through Agrelo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Norberto Gutxi. A collision led to Agrelo getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Elvio Salvino hit a great ball. Ulises Bladi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Norberto Gutxi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Esteban Gonsalvo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Norberto Gutxi. That made the score 2-0 in the 49 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raimundo Tolino to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Abel Dimas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Gutxi came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Club's Raimundo Tolino. But to his dismay, Raimundo Tolino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Agrelo's Norberto Gutxi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Bladi in the 72nd minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Igon to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Salvino in the 84th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Clemente Menendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, Gaspar Erlantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Menendo came out of the goal and Gaspar Erlantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Valentin Honrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Racing Club had played much better football throughout.
